Hello Ralph!
This bottle is called Ledaig "Peaty" here in Germany. It sells for roughly
25 EUR. There had been bottles on sale for as less as 19,90 EUR.
You may have a look at this bottle:

There had been two separate bottlings in bulgy bottles in former times:
http://www.thewhiskystore.de/dist/tobermor/ledaipeat_2.jpg
One matured in Sherry casks and the other in ex-Bourbon casks. There were
different colors on the labels.
Two years back they changed to the cheaper standard liquor bottle and the
Sherry maturation vanished.
We also discussed here on the list, that there had been a supermarket
bottling with 'strange' 42 ABV which looked as if they came from the same
distillery Tobermory/Ledaig.
I think that CL Financial (owner of Burn Stewart) started its CL World
Brands group to intensify the sale of malt whiskies into the world markets.
Perhaps we see older bottlings of Ledaig in the future on our markets.
CL World Brands also owns Bunnahabhain now.
Regards,
Horst

Greetings all,
Somethings are just not meant to be understood! All of a sudden we have a
veritable flood of good single malts, never before seen in the small
specialist wine shops. At least 10 new (for us) labels. Oooooh!
I picked up a distillery Ledaig (42%) no age statement, at only 25% more
expensive than a price on the net in the UK. I'm in shock!
But so far I cant find a hint of its age. Whats the secret? Can someone
spill the beans, please?
Uncle Ralph
