Cadenhead Edradour 19 yr

Yes, unfortunately I also have had a bottle of this...soapy, babypuke, FWP
infested malt. I even find it overwhelming in the nose!
And yes, in my book, this is the same fault as many Bowmores had/have. It is
not exactly the same, but take the peat in Bowmore out of the equation, and
they are very close...
But contrary to what you say, I have tasted it in many Edradours as well,
not always as overwhelming, but disturbing nevertheless. That is the reason
why I never buy Edradour without tasting it before I buy. I have not bought
an Edradour in 6 or 7 years...although I don't claim that I have tasted all
versions, but a good dozzen at leats, and I have only found 1 or 2 that were
not 'afflicted'... I'll look up which it were. Memory doesn't serve me as
well as it used to... ;-)

Greetz,
Paul.
As B. Connolly used to say: "Yes!!! One less of them, and one more of
usss!!!!" Another FWP subscriber! ;-)
