Soapy Edradour - was Cadenhead Edradour 19 yr

Thats an optimistic outlook.
It could be that the problem is not in production, but at bottling.
There was some discussion a few years ago that recognized the soapy situation but pointed a wobbly fingure of suspicion at the bottling line.
It would be nice if someone could point to a few good E-bottlings, so that we can try out stuff with confidence. Otherwise, its a shame, but there is too much other good stuff out there, and too little time, to get my knickers in a twist about Edradour.
(And Yea! - I got 4 of the Malt Maniac Adelphi Gold Medal 30 yo Macallans. Two down, two to shlurp!)
And for those of you wondering where their "Breath of Speyside" came from, I'll ***grant*** you that its a puzzle inside a mystery wrapped in a 4-wheel enigma.
