Hey Ralph,

If my writing was 1/4 as well constructed and 1/10 as engaging as your
own, I'd be the happiest man alive.  It didn't cross my mind to be
offended nor does it now that you have drawn the possibility to my
attention.  I remember warmly our crossing paths on Malts-L over the
years, and our meeting on Islay, and my first taste of Port Charlotte
- some clearic liberated by you, so I am delighted my article has
brought your message.

Now, since you have started a race for firsts, can I ask you and the
list if anyone has tasted The Singleton of Glen Ord?  12 and 18yo
versions available in the east I believe.
