To their defence this was many years ago and they were trying to be helpful. (The parcel was
labelled with a private sender.) They were just being too creative.
It is still, as far as I know, permitted to receive a bottle of whisky every once in while, as a
gift. But it has to be declared whats inside.
However, the Customs turns a blind eye towards parcels with one or two (expensive) bottles of
whisky. They focus on cheap Internet liquor that comes in bulk. This might of course change.
