Help needed - Laphroaig

Hi Peter,

I tasted them both masked/blind for the Malt Manaixs Awards 2005.

# 9 Laphroaig Quartercask 48% -   Comment: Toffee, malt and peat - peat
takes a while to come out - very solid - Laphroaig - Silver 86/100  - More
creamy than standard Laphroaig
#59 Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength  55.7% -  Comment:Sweet wood, toffee some
fruit -
peat becomes more obvious - sour fruit and peat in equal parts in the
palate, leather and tar and a reprise of slightly oily ointment - stable and
very well balanced - probably Lagavulin but might be Laphroaig - Silver
89/100 - More like Lagavulin than standard Laphroaig 10.
