I tried it recently beside 

Ardbeg 10 
Ardbeg 17 (the latest bottling) 
Ardbeg 1977 
Ardbeg Lord of the Isles 

Although it was slightly better than the TEN it was
not as good as the 17 and a lot less enjoyable than
the 1977 and Lord. Although the 17 has been known to
contain a lot of older whisky in the latest editions. 

Thats just my opinion
