The FIRST release of Kininvie / glenfiddicn toasted malt

As to the toasted Glenfiddich, I assume they use the same words as Old Potrero does, which is that a toasted cask only has the staves heated up in order to bend them whereas a charred cask has the staves actually, well, charred. So essentially, the difference is in length and intensity of exposure to the flames.

Hi all,

sorry i have been quiet for some time now but now back to the action again! I wonder where people got the Kininvie from? I thought that it was for distillery employees only? Could any one enlighten me further?

Also whilst on the fiddich - could someone please explain to me about the toasted oak Glenfiddich - what makes it toasted and not charred?

I look forward to your responses.

Regards

Pete

An acquaintance of mine has one as well, but then he
is the brand ambassador for Glenfiddich in Sweden.

He said that the bottling was made for the employees
of the William Grant & Sons Ltd and its subsidiaries.

Do you know where your friend has gotten the bottle,
and if there are more?
