Balvenie Hazelwood

I have heard a few rumours that Balvenie are to release a Hazelwood finish - I know about it being called Hazelwood for the same Janet Robertson reasons but is there any truth in the rumour that it will actually be finished in a hazelwood cask?
 
Also if it is would this be legal?
