Some advice?

No, I wasn't being coy. It's just that I haven't had time for more than the briefest cursory glance at the results. I also got the coding sheet from WM (all the tasting was done blind; all I knew was category, age bracket and alcohol%), so curious how I scored things I'd already tasted before. This blind tasting really makes you taste whiskies differently, pick out things you wouldn't normally pick out and/or miss things you normally encounter. Just goes to show the expectation of a certain taste profile makes up quite a chunk of what you actually experience.

Maybe Lex is being coy(Lex?), but he sat on the judging panel for the 
Independent Bottlers' Challenge organised by Whisky Magazine. The results 
appear in the issue which I picked up at Whisky Live Glasgow and has just 
landed on my London doormat.

Duncan Taylor & Company were won Independent Bottler of the Year trophies 
for the Highland, Lowland and Vatted/Blended categories. Three out of the 
eight up for grabs.
