B Day

Hey all,

So on my Bday I decided to share a bottle I bought a few years back with some Male co-workers who swore they loved whisky......  It was a 21 yr old Abelour very tasty candy apple fragrance, light with a slight heated after taste very smooth.  After watching 3 of these yo yo's add .......Horror.... ice (I grabbed my bottle took the remaining 3 drams in whiskyFest glasses 2001, 2003 & 2005) and turned into the Golf Course Witch, threatening  to cut off vital male anatomical pieces and swearing to hex the next guy to add anything but their lips to my joy de vive.  Two other co workers (aged 75 & 72 respectively) all but promised me their 5th and 10 great grands for just a wee dram.  I finally caved in and we we enjoyed quite a few drams together.  
  The yo yo's felt badly and got me a gift bottle of Glen something or other in the special Poker edition pack complete with poker cards chips and a black box claiming the 2 go well together.  I went and Bought the Bru Laddie 73 which I will be bringing with me to Whiskyfest and sharing  with Peter and a few list members after I track down Laddie's manger for his autograph on my B'day present to myself (lol).  If someone would have told me 20 years ago that I'd track down my fav drink master for his autograph but just be happy to smile and shake hands with Bono, I'd laughed at them......my how times change!!!!
