Half a cheer for Loch Dhu

I've seen Loch Dhu bottles on eBay for prices over £200 as well. We all know collector's prices have zilch to do with quality and this is the best proof I've ever seen of that.

And yes, it was the worst single malt whisky I've ever had the displeasure of tasting ...

Cheers, Lex

Collector madness, simple as that
I heard a guy bragging about his new Loch Dhu some years ago at a
whiskytasting.
He "only" paid around £150.

I have tasted it several times and im not impressed.
If you wanna taste something similar, try our local speciality "gammel
dansk" at a price around £8.

The only good thing about this, it must be proof that we are getting
ritcher:)

I just don't get it! Are we living in a rational world, or not? Where did my
education go wrong?

Friends just back from old Scotia tell me that Loch Dhu is selling in the
up-market whisky shops in Glasgow and Edinburgh at prices from 250 to 280
Sterling.
I think they call it cognitive dissonance.
(SIGH!)
