The FIRST release of Kininvie

Good to hear Kininvie is finally officially bottled. I was lucky enough
to taste a cask sample a few years ago and thought it was absolutely
fine for bottling (haven't got detailed tasting notes at hand here at
work, for some odd reason).

Dear All,

I am so happy and don't know if I can write down properly. Just got this
bottle as a gift from my friend. 

 

The world-ever First Relase of Kininvie as a single malt from the
distillery.  It is called Hazelwood 105, to celebrate the 105th birthday
of Janet Sheed Roberts.  She is the last surviving grand child of the
company's founder.  

 

This Kininvie is 15yo at 105 proof(52.5%). it bottled from first fill
sherry casks. No information about total bottling number, but my bottle
number is 645, It's distilled on 9th Aug. 1990 and bottled on 1st Aug
2006.
