I guess all good things have a limited life span, but I do feel sad about a vibrant, knowledgeable and often opinionated (and I mean that in a positive way) whisky community slip into oblivion. So I think we need to consider whether there is enough interest remaining to set up Malts-L as an active list somewhere else. If no more than a handful of people feel that way, setting up a new Malts-L somewhere else, only to see it remain silent, is probably a waste of time. A lot of us are probably active on other whisky fora scattered across the internet, but do we want Malts-L to remain as a separate entity?
