A very heartfelt: Yes, Malts-L should continue!!!

PS. On the DT news... I think they almost have to!
The news I've been hearing these last couple of months is that no distillery
or drinks group is selling ANY whisky for money any more! They only "swap"
spirit.
Obviously the boom that is expected due to things happening in the far east
and russia has changed whisky into liquid gold, and no-one is willing to
sell any more.
Therefore, independent bottlers, who do not have their own distillery, and
thus spirit to swqp, will become extinct?
I also heard that diageo have plans to build a distillery that will dwarf
all existing ones, capable of a mass output that equals or surpasses all
their current portfolio put together...
Whether all this is true I don't know...sure thing is: the world of whisky
is shaking a bit...
