[MM-MALTS-L] Request for a solid tasty Whisky cake recipe

Hi All,

Speaking of whisky recipes, has anyone read Bernard Poirier's whisky cook
book called Whisky With Dinner?  The first edition was released about 20
years ago and it has had at least one complete update since.  This guy is
quite a unique writer with a very wry sense of humour.  Whisky With Dinner
was the first whisky book I ever read and I didn't get all the jokes the
first time, but I recently re-read a newer edition and was chuckling all the
way through.  Along with the regular fare there are lots and lots of recipes
for sweets made with whisky including a rum ball variant called scottish
grapes or something to that effect.
