An aw'ful skinful o' haggises indeed. Now, when I spent a summer camping in
the Ayrshire hills south of Girvan (Burns country nobbut short by a
whisker) I distinctly remember on R&R nights of hawf 'n' hawfs down in
Girvan, that the local butcher when topping up our protein supplies called
it a 'haggus'. And with my classical education the plural could only be
haggi - not so?

And as for Macallan 12 yo, sherry casked - tsk, tsk. Can I take it that the
rabbi of the synagogue which you do not attend, was safely out of sight
down the hill somewhere?

And did you gie them anither blaw, or did they hide the pipes in the
chicken shed knowing you were looming large? Maybe not, and you screw'd the
pipes and gart them a skirl till roof and rafters a' did dirl.

Aye mon, the bogles will nae catch ye unawares.

All the best

Peter Wood
