Good whisky places in Rome?

As the resident Rome correspondent ( a wee bit north at least), I can recommend one or two places. Le Bon Bock is an excellent bar where they hold regular whisky events (check out their website). For buying bottles to take home, Bernebei in Trastevere has a very good selection, even carrying the occasional Cadenheads bottle (although strangely they never seem to have heard of them if you don't see the bottle and have to ask - the last time they even had me on the phone to their suppliers and still didn't know what I was on about. As it was only a couple of weeks since that I had bought the Cadneheads Linkwood from them...welcome to Italy). There are various bars and shops around depending on where you will be, perhaps I can make other suggestions if I had a better idea where you'll be based.

How long are you here for and what will you be up to? It would be nice to meet up for a dram if at all possible. I am actually up close to Bracciano (made famous by Tom and Katie recently), but as my mother in law is in Trastevere we are in fairly regularly (if you get fed up of pizza I can recommend a good Indian restaurant!
