Correct Mark,

and do not forget that Tade Marks are usually registered per a narrow 
defined 'product' group, not as a monopoly to use a set sequence of letters. 


In the Thai Red Bull case it is a name for a distillery,  not a product, and 
in use since 1988.

Well, it wouldn’t be the first time Thais have been accused of 
intellectual property issues…but while “Red Bull” may be registered 
internationally…I believe one still has to claim “first use” in each 
country to enforce that trademark…
 
Of course, I’m not a lawyer…and I could well be wrong…
