Kilbeggan distillery

I think it is really good news, especially since several plans for new
distilleries in Ireland appear to have quietly disappeared. Anyone heard
anything recently of Coola Mills / 'Irish Distillery Project'?

Don't know how many of you have already heard, but since yesterday,
Ireland has a fourth working whiskey distillery. Distilling has started
again at Kilbeggan distillery (operated by Cooley). As I understand it,
Kilbeggan will mainly be a malt distillery, but there are plans for
other types of whiskey as well.
