[MM-MALTS-L] bargains from the past??

Amongst the PLOWED (Society), this type of activity/event is known as "FAOFing" (after a PLOWEDster whose nickname was "FOAF" [originally introduced to us as a "Friend of a Friend"] who was and is a passed master at this sort of thing).

This is actually an example of an even more lofty subtype of FOAF: The "Extinction FOAF" -- when ALL of the bottling or bottlings of interest are purchased/removed from a retailer or source.

Congrats on your "Extinction FOAF", Ken!  ;)

Slainte!

Thanks to Lawrence, Dave and Martin for their quick replies. Based on the consensus that these were worthwhile whiskies, and bargain priced, I went back to that store today. After a brief negotiation, I agreed to help him clear his shelf space of "those old bottles that aren't moving", and got all six bottles for $280 U.S. Slainte indeed!
