Hi Dave,
try to check the auction houses.
Whiskyauction.com has all its results on their webpage. Off course McTears
in Glasgow is a good source as well, but I do not know how much of previous
auctions is online.

Betreff: [MM-MALTS-L] Valuing collector bottles?
Hi all,
My first mail to the list!
I have a bottle of Port Ellen 21yo (1978 distilling) which I bought a few
years ago, and which is still unopened, and I think it's worth a few bob
now. I have no idea how much it might fetch if I were to sell it, but I
would like to get it valued if it's anything over £200 to get it added to
the insurance for the house.
Anyone know how much it might be worth?
Cheers,
Dave.
PS. I'm looking for tips on good Speyside whiskeys which are a bit off the
beaten path (something other than Aberlour, Strathisla, Knockando,
Macallan) - any tips?
