[MM-MALTS-L] Valuing collector bottles?

Dave,

I am looking at Martin Green's book 'Collecting Malt Whisky', which
gives all the prices achieved at McTear's
since 2000. It is a useful (though irritating) tome.

Prices vary widely. Presumably yours is an OB, not an indie bottling?
Curiously it doesn't list a 1978 21YO.
What is the strength of your bottle?

Best,

Charlie Maclean
