Love Glen Kinchie.
Wonder if they also sold Glen Livet, Glen Morangie, Glen Fiddich, Glen Farclas etc...
A few minutes' googling yielded this about HB:
'Australian Liquor Marketers had its origins in the 1960's, when Davids Holdings acquired Harbottle Brown.
Harbottle Brown underwent many changes both of name and ownership over the years, but consistently remained proudly Australian with Davids Holdings continually involved in the liquor industry.
The early 1980's saw the Davids Liquor Division moving away from the Harbottle Brown name and briefly trading as A.G. Campbell.
Harbottle Brown is now a company which specialises in servicing the on-premise liquor market and provides additional services to assist the smaller and more specialised liquor retailer.' Jon

Hi all
I've been approached by a woman living in rural New South Wales whose father was given this bottle of whisky in 1959. Is there anyone out there who knows more about it? I suspect that it might have been an Australian 'brand' of Scotch as it was bottled in Australia. I can't find any reference to Harbottle Brown & Co so I wonder whether it might be a subsidiary of either United Distillers or Gilbeys?
Cheers and thanks in advance
