[MM-MALTS-L] Japanese Single Malt

As a novice I try no to disturb the group but as it's been quiet on the list I'll chance sending an inquiry to the group.

I picked up a bottle of Japanese Single Malt - A 12 Y.O. Yamazaki in the Bangkok airport while in my travels. 
I haven't opened yet. Nor is there much written about in my reference books (Michael Jackson & Jum Murray)
Has anyone tried it? If so, will you share your tasting notes and opinion of it?
