Hi all,
I got this recently, tried it, and honestly thought it was lovely. With
a drop of water, reminded me of an Irish - maybe a Black Bush?, with a
fairly fruity smell, a mild chocolate taste (like off a Redbreast?) -
all in all, was well pleased. And others seemed to enjoy it too.
But just found this review:
Staff Tasting Notes
Neoprene or waterproof jacket. Coal-Tar soap & synthetic milk chocolate.
Slightly oxidized notes. Good, chewy mouthfeel. Slightly antiseptic –
although pleasantly so.

and I'm now wondering if (a) I'd already had a dram too many by the time
we got to this one or (b) I'm talking through my arse.
Of course, what's important is that I and my fellow journeymen enjoyed
the bottle immensely... but, you know, self-esteem and all that...
Anyone else know this whisky?
Cheers,
Dave.
