Hello Ralph,

Sorry to reply late.

We tasted the PC6, as we called it, it seems to be the same dram.
I'm not able to reach my tasting notes now, but I remember the discussions that night.

Some people did not like it too much focus on peat, no balance in the whisky. (it was a blind tasting)

Others, including me, hold the opinion, if they can make this at 6 years old, I surely will try again when older bottelings come out.
Yes you need to like peated whisky, yes it is not perfectly balanced, but there were interesting notes in the back. 
For us it has the heart of Islay in it, for Islay lovers you should at least taste it.

I can not compare to any other Port Charlottes, since it was the first one had. I hope it helps to form your opinion.
