Oh, I'm sure a bottling will eventually surface, like with Kininvie. Just meant that the probable reason Wm Grant haven't made any fuss about Ailsa Bay is that in their minds the malt is "just" meant for blending.

Yes the newmake is wonderful. Even if it is meant for Blending, I am pretty sure sooner or later there will be a malt on the market. Wasn't it the same with Kininvie?

By the way, in case people have missed it: Scotland very quietly got a
new malt distillery some months ago: Ailsa Bay has commenced distilling,
but its owners (Wm Grant) haven't made a song and dance about it at all,
probably because the output is meant for blending only (AFAIK).
