[MM-MALTS-L] Compass Box Whiskies?

Greetings from Down Under
John is an interesting man and his vattings great. I spent an afternoon with
him a couple of years ago and can assure you that he does know his stuff and
a whisky food pairing at $110 is good value, but better with John in charge.
If it helps he is from the USA, a former Diagio manager and you will follow
his accent!

A local wine/food/spirits merchant has arranged for John Glaser to come and
provide some examples of whisky and food pairings.
 
I've heard good things about Compass Box, but at USD 110 the event is a bit
steep to attend without knowing more about their whiskies.
 
So, what do you fellow whisky lovers think of Asyla, Hedonism, Oak Cross and
Peat Monster?
