Actually, this would suggest they are making pure pot still Irish whiskey,
but not calling it that:

*"Whale Tail: **Single Malt **4-year cask aged whiskey
The wash is made of **a grist of Kerry barley and Irish malted barley**,
fermented with proprietary Irish brewing
yeast in washbacks, and spirit is triple-distilled and collected into
ex-bourbon casks for four years ageing."
The title says "Single Malt", the description is PPS.*
