Bert,
I hate to say that but as usual I totally agree with you. ;-)
As Bert already said, Ian MacLeod launched this product to have something with a good price-quality ratio to satisfy this peat hype we have seen the last ~5 years.
All we here in this list are NERDS. Yes, we love to find out what's behind a mystery malt and we love to discuss this with other whiskymaniacs, but especially in this case I think it will be really difficult. Maybe we could do it for the Black Smokehead since it is a rather new product, but for the other two it will be "out of question" since the "definitely" changed the "recipe" during time, so as Serge already mentioned we would have to start collecting the "batchnumbers", "bottling numbers", etc. we can find out there.
Just a question on the side: does somebody have different versions to make a H2H? And would bother to do so?
And as far as I have seen so far just one person - Brian (professormalt)- really commented on the original question Pascal asked - are there no other opinions?
