[MM-MALTS-L] re: Visiting Japanese Distilleries

Incredible selection and even more incredible prices!  Plus cover
charges and gratuities, the total often only given to you as a single
huge number on a hand written card and many only take cash so make
sure you have many 10000 yen bills in your wallet when you visit them.
 Wonderful old whiskies you can't find anywhere else, including
Scotland.  And you can watch the locals drink them in highballs,
eek!!!!  And people will smoke beside you and eat foods so you won't
really be able to appreciate the whiskies properly but it is still
fun!

You can still buy them too.  There is a good facebook page by the MM
about whisky bars and stores in Japan but many are difficult to find
unless they're a stone's throw from a subway station (and I read a
fair bit of Japanese too but Tokyo is just tough to find places, even
for their taxi drivers with navigation systems).
