and the Laphroaig 10 YO to either the Cask Strength or the Quarter Cask
- in the UK these are all available in certain supermarkets well under
your £38 cap. I'm glad to see the Glenfiddich Solera there - that's
another one </font></font></font><font color="navy"><font size="2"><font
face="Arial">that regularly features as one of my 'House Malts'.</font></font></font><font
color="navy"><font size="2"><font face="Arial"> One omission is
perhaps that there is no Macallan on your list, although I know that
the distillery has fallen from grace somewhat in recent times. The 12
YO Sherry Oak expression (£31.99, 82 points) seems to fit your bill,
although I haven't tried it myself since the days of the old Duty
Free-only 12 YO. </font></font></font><font color="navy"><font size="2"><font
face="Arial">Lagavulin 16 also just about creeps under the price
barrier here, as others have commented.</font></font></font><br>
